About Us

Our story is one of those personal milestones that become statements full of enthusiasm and positivity for life. Behind our story is Ana María Carrasco, former world water ski champion, entrepreneur and businesswoman. I was born with severe respiratory problems. At two months old I had whooping cough with bronchial spasms and was on the verge of death. My parents spent long sleepless nights in anguish because I could not breathe and I was constantly choking. It was my pediatrician who recommended my parents to live near the sea so that I could improve my symptoms.This need to restore the ocean to its former glory was the driving force behind the creation of Bevu, a project that not only cares for our oceans, but also promotes human hydration. We set out to create a novel product that was not only durable and non-toxic, but also had a unique scent. We extensively researched different materials until we found the perfect combination that met our high standards for purity, durability and functionality.
